Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a diligent Cashier to manage POS transactions and cash handling while ensuring security at till points. The role includes assisting with cellular, credit, and value-added services, promoting add-ons, and delivering exceptional customer service in a busy retail environment.

The successful candidate will have Grade 12, 2–3 years of retail experience, and familiarity with basic MS Office tools; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Financial administration or cash handling experience.
• Basic computer literacy including MS Word and MS Excel; SAP is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Process all POS transactions and cash ups accurately and in line with company policy.
• Balance cash and float with supervision at shift end.
• Promote add-on sales on customer purchases.
• Maintain till security including password updates and secure handling of till points.
• Provide exceptional customer service, handle complaints, and comply with consumer protection laws.
• Assist with cellular, credit and lay-by sales and related documentation.
• Coordinate customer repairs or ancillary services and communicate turnaround times.
