Job summary

Pepkor Lifestyle is hiring a cashier to operate tills, handle cash, and support cellular, credit, and service administration. You will promote add-on sales while maintaining security and accuracy at the till, and provide friendly, efficient service to customers according to company policy.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric required.
• 2–3 years retail experience.
• Financial administration or cash handling experience.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
• SAP experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process point-of-sale transactions and cash-ups per policy.
• Capture invoices electronically within 24 hours and attach to copies.
• Promote add-on sales on customer purchases.
• Update TV licence registers and process TV licence purchases.
• Balance cash and floats with supervisor present.
• Ensure till points and workstations are secure and clean.
• Answer calls within 3 rings with standard greetings and transfer messages.
• Provide customer-centric service per service code and resolve complaints.
