Pepkor Lifestyle is hiring a Cashier to be the primary contact at till points, handling POS transactions, cash ups, and basic till security. The role also supports cellular, credit, and service administration in downtime. You will promote add-on sales, maintain TV licence registers, and ensure accuracy in invoicing and compliance with store policies.

Strong numerical and customer-service skills are essential. Experience in retail and familiarity with SAP/MS Excel preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• 2–3 years in a retail environment.
• Financial administration or cash handling experience.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel); SAP advantageous; cellular/credit vetting knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Process POS transactions and manage cash ups.
• Capture invoices electronically within 24 hours and attach to manual copies.
• Promote add-on sales on customer purchases.
• Maintain TV licence registers and process TV licence purchases.
• Balance cash ups and floats with supervisor and secure float seals at shift end.
• Ensure till points and workstations are secure, clean, and ready for trading.
• Handle customer calls with standard greetings and accurate messaging.
• Assist with cellular, credit and lay-by sales to meet monthly targets.
