Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in Durban seeks a dedicated customer service officer to support smooth sales operations and ensure excellent service to internal and external customers.

You will contact customers daily, receive calls and orders, verify accounts, generate SAP orders, and coordinate with warehouse and business representatives to keep deliveries on time and accurate.

The role requires 2–3 years in a call centre or customer service, IT literacy, and proficiency in Excel and SAP.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-3 years Call Centre and Customer Service experience.
• Must be IT literate, and proficient specifically in Microsoft Office (Excel) and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Contacting customers daily as per calling schedule.
• Receive calls & orders from customers.
• Check account status, credit viability and limits.
• Generate orders on SAP as per generate order procedure.
• Release order (invoice generation) for shipment and FLO.
• Advise Warehouse & Distribution Manager, supervisor and Value logistics supervisor on orders not released.
• Address queries passed on by Value Logistics within 8 hours of receipt of the query.
• Provide quotes on an Ad Hoc basis to customers.
