Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking an experienced Front Desk Associate to support the Front Desk Manager on board a cruise ship. You will supervise staff, assist with scheduling and training, and ensure exceptional guest service at the reception area.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, handling inquiries, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with other departments, and keeping the front desk organized in a fast-paced maritime environment. Some weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or hospitality management courses preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or front desk role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and booking systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Front Desk Manager in managing the front desk operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising front desk staff onboard the cruise ship
• Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Manage and monitor the booking system to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare and maintain daily reports and records
• Assist with administrative tasks and projects as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
• Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to clients
