Job summary

FreeRecruit is seeking a detail-oriented Creditor Clerk to join our finance team in Pietermaritzburg. You will manage supplier accounts, process invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records to support a smooth month-end close.

The ideal candidate holds Matric, a certificate or diploma in accounting, at least two years in creditors or accounts payable, and strong Excel skills. You will reconcile statements, file documentation, and help with reporting while upholding company

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in creditors/accounts payable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and creditor reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
