Job summary

VDP Distributors Western Cape is seeking a sharp debtors professional to own the debtors book within a small, visible team. You will manage the full ledger, follow up overdue accounts by phone and email, and perform monthly age analyses while maintaining accuracy in allocations and query resolution.

Experience with Sage and a bookkeeping or finance qualification are advantageous. This role suits a proactive communicator who values organisation and timely collections in a FMCG distribution

Qualifications

• 3+ years in credit control or debtors
• Experience with distribution or FMCG is a plus
• Confident on the phone and able to chase outstanding payments
• Accurate, organised and transparent about status of accounts

VDP Distributors Western Cape supplies coffee (Douwe Egberts Professional), DaVinci Gourmet syrups, beverage equipment and wine to hospitality and foodservice businesses across the Western Cape. We're growing, and we need a sharp, organised person to own our debtors book.

• Accurate, organised and honest about where things stand
• Matric required. A bookkeeping or finance qualification is a plus
