Zusammenfassung

VDP Distributors Western Cape is seeking a sharp debtors professional to own the debtors book within a small, visible team. You will manage the full ledger, follow up overdue accounts by phone and email, and perform monthly age analyses while maintaining accuracy in allocations and query resolution.

Experience with Sage and a bookkeeping or finance qualification are advantageous. This role suits a proactive communicator who values organisation and timely collections in a FMCG distribution

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in credit control or debtors
• Experience with distribution or FMCG is a plus
• Confident on the phone and able to chase outstanding payments
• Accurate, organised and transparent about status of accounts

Aufgaben

• Manage the full debtors ledger and keep collections on track
• Follow up overdue accounts by phone and email, firmly but professionally
• Run monthly age analysis and report on debtor days and risk accounts
• Handle new account applications, credit checks and credit limits
• Resolve queries and disputes with clients, sales reps and operations
• Reconcile client accounts and allocate payments accurately
• Flag problem accounts early and work with sales to get them sorted
