Job summary

Community Schemes Obud Service seeks a focused debt collection professional to manage outstanding accounts and cash-flow processes. You will follow up on debts, assist in policy development, and escalate issues to improve collectability.

The role emphasizes accurate reporting and timely information flows to stakeholders, supporting sustainability of the debtor portfolio and compliance with internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on outstanding debt to ensure timely collection.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Escalate outstanding debt to improve collectability.
• Process debt, write-offs and debt impairment to keep the debtor's book collectible.
• Provide an effective service in respect of debt and cash-flow management.
• Input into reporting to ensure stakeholders have complete, accurate and timely information.
