Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Credit Analyst for our Randburg finance team. You will evaluate borrower creditworthiness, analyze financial data and contribute to loan decisions. The role focuses on accuracy, risk assessment, and detailed reporting within an office-based environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of credit analysis experience, solid Excel skills, and a strong grasp of financial statement/risk analysis. This is a full-time, on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or related financial role.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, ratio analysis and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software (Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports and data to assess creditworthiness.
• Determine loan eligibility and recommend credit limits and terms.
• Monitor existing loan portfolios for signs of distress and risk.
• Prepare credit reports and recommendations for loan committees.
• Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with loan officers and relationship managers to support client needs.
