Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst in Cape Town to evaluate credit risk for new and current customers and set appropriate credit limits. You will interpret financial data, highlight risk factors, and prepare compelling business cases for stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years in credit risk, strong financial analysis, and effective communication across levels. Proficiency in Excel and SAP is advantageous, with familiarity of credit bureaus a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification.
• 4+ years’ experience in a credit risk, credit analyst, or related credit environment.
• Strong financial statement analysis, report writing, and risk assessment skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and strict deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit risk evaluations for new and existing customers and recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Interpret financial information, identify risk factors, and prepare clear credit recommendations and business cases.
• Monitor customer accounts, overdue balances, credit limit exceptions, and high-risk exposures.
• Support internal stakeholders with credit-related queries, escalations, reporting, and customer risk insights.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies, standards, procedures, data security, and compliance requirements.
