Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Cosmetic Frontshop Assistant for our Krugersdorp store to uphold high merchandising standards while supporting customer service at the point of sale. The role requires Grade 12, 0–6 months retail experience, and a year in cosmetics retail, with a retail-related certification and MS Office literacy.

You will ensure shelves are stocked and presented, manage stock rotation, assist customers, process payments, and maintain store security and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
• 0–6 months retail experience required.
• 1 year retail cosmetics experience preferred.
• Retail or related field certification.
• Computer literate – MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Keep full product ranges on shelves and neatly presented.
• Maintain stock to prevent sell-by dates.
• Restock merchandise to maximise sales.
• Handle cash flow and payment processing according to SOPs.
• Approve price changes with supervisor and manage voids.
• Assist customers with friendly, helpful service and product knowledge.
• Store out-of-stock follow-ups and customer communication.
• Ensure stock is scanned and paid for and stored properly.
