Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is seeking a Cosmetic Frontshop Assistant for their Pavilion store to uphold merchandising standards and support customer service at the point of sale in accordance with Dis-Chem policies.

You will keep ranges stocked, ensure stock accuracy, handle payments, and provide friendly assistance to customers in a busy cosmetics environment. This is an entry-level role with emphasis on customer service and store presentation.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric
• 0–6 months retail experience
• 1 year cosmetics retail experience
• Retail or related field certification
• Computer literacy – MS Office

Responsibilities

• Ensure full ranges on shelves and neatly presented.
• Maintain stock on shelves to prevent sell-by dates.
• Restock merchandise to maximize sales.
• Process payments (cash, cards, vouchers, etc.).
• Ensure stock/line voids and price changes are approved by a supervisor.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and advice to all customers.
• Handle out-of-stock queries from the customer service out-of-stock list.
• Adhere to security procedures and use of codes/passwords.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and Dis-Chem SOPs.
