Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is hiring a Cosmetic Frontshop Assistant for the Toti Centre store. You will uphold merchandising standards and support customer service at the point of sale in line with Dis-Chem policies.

The role requires Grade 12, 0–6 months retail experience, and 1 year cosmetics retail exposure, plus a retail-related certification and MS Office skills. Willingness to work retail hours and reside near the store are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• 0–6 months retail experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in cosmetics retail.
• Retail or related field certification is required.
• Computer literate – MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full product ranges are on shelves and neatly presented.
• Maintain stock and ensure products have not passed sell-by date.
• Restock merchandise to maximise sales.
• Handle cash transactions and payments.
• Ensure price changes are approved by a supervisor.
• Assist customers with exchanges and returns.
• Scan, process payments, and manage cash drop safely.
• Store stock pulled from storeroom stored correctly.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service.
• Follow up on out-of-stock items with the service list.
