Qualifications

• A Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation qualification is essential.
• Minimum 5 years' sales experience in control valves, instrumentation, process control or related industrial engineering products.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate engineering specifications and applications.
• Willingness and ability to travel across South Africa and Southern Africa.
• Valid drivers licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies across South Africa and Southern Africa.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within relevant industrial, engineering and process-related markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and prospective clients.
• Promote and sell control valves and related solutions in line with customer specifications and requirements.
• Understand customer processes to recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and technical sales presentations.
• Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms through to order placement.
• Conduct customer visits, site assessments and technical discussions to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal technical, engineering, procurement and service teams to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor market developments and activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records and pipeline reports.
• Travel nationally and throughout Southern Africa as required.
