Job summary

Professional Resources Partners Pty Ltd seeks a Sales Consultant for Control Valves to drive new business and manage key customer relationships in the process industries. This technical sales role requires knowledge of control valves and engineered solutions, with travel across regional customers.

You will conduct visits, deliver technical presentations, prepare quotations, and collaborate with engineering teams to tailor valve solutions.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• N3 in Mechanical or Process Instrumentation is required.
• N6 qualification and Trade Test in Instrumentation are advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in technical sales within industrial automation, valves, instrumentation, or process control.
• Sound knowledge of control valves and their applications.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts.
• Conduct face-to-face customer visits and technical sales presentations.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable control valve solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations to secure new business.
• Maintain and update the CRM system with sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts.
• Work closely with internal engineering and technical support teams to develop customer solutions.
• Conduct site visits, plant surveys, and shutdown planning with customers.
• Promote service, maintenance, repair, and aftermarket solutions.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Monitor market activity and identify new sales opportunities.
• Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to regional business growth.
