Job summary

Dixie Recruitment is seeking an AV/IT Support Technician for an office/control-room based role in Upper Highway, KZN. You will provide daily IT and AV support, monitor networks, and assist with CCTV and guest interfaces, with occasional travel to sites.

The ideal candidate has hands-on IT experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to learn. A valid Code 08 driver’s licence is required and some hospitality IT exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous IT/technical support experience would be advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
• Valid Code 08 driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT and technical support from the control room.
• Monitor and troubleshoot guest WiFi and network connectivity.
• Provide AV setup and troubleshooting support, including TVs, display systems and guest interfaces.
• Monitor CCTV and fire systems.
• Assist with basic network and office IT support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, cabling, printers, PCs and other office equipment.
• Provide remote and occasional on-site technical support.
• Escalate more complex technical issues where necessary.
