Job summary

Optimal Growth Technologies is seeking a Consumables Consultant to drive consumable sales by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage telesales, cold-calling, and CRM-based activities, build trust with customers, and collaborate with sales and operations to ensure smooth order processing and after-sales support.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or higher qualification.
• Previous experience in consumables or office supplies sales will be advantageous.
• Strong telesales and cold-calling skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for consumables.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and telesales follow-ups.
• Identify and prospect for new clients via telesales and other lead generation methods.
• Understand client needs and recommend suitable consumable solutions.
• Maintain accurate sales records and update the CRM system with all interactions.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
• Provide after-sales support and manage client queries professionally.
• Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business growth.
