Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Construction Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day construction activities in and around Benoni. You will lead a diverse team of professionals and subcontractors, ensure safety, and drive projects to successful completion in residential and commercial markets.

The ideal candidate brings extensive site supervision experience, a deep understanding of codes and methods, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining quality

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Construction Site Superintendent or similar supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specs, and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel for efficient execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to track work and resolve issues.
• Ensure timely completion of milestones and maintain schedules and budgets.
• Maintain detailed site records, daily reports, safety logs, and progress docs.
