Placements24 is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects in Midrand, Gauteng. You will act as the on-site lead, directing a diverse team of subcontractors and workers while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will develop schedules, monitor progress, and maintain rigorous health and safety practices. Strong leadership and communication with clients and engineers are essential to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules with milestones.
• Oversee daily site operations, including resources, progress, and quality control.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental regulations on all sites.
• Manage subcontractor performance per contracts and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including reports and financial records.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and stakeholders for alignment.
