Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on sites in Soweto and surrounding areas. You will guide crews, monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and coordinate with tradespeople and suppliers to ensure on-time, high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, deep knowledge of construction processes in Gauteng, and the ability to manage logistics and reports effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of construction crews and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce all health and safety regulations on the construction site.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment, managing site logistics effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed tasks.
