About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the construction industry, is actively seeking a results-driven and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead significant commercial development projects in the George, Western Cape area. This role demands exceptional leadership, meticulous planning, and a deep understanding of all facets of construction management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the central point of contact for all project-related activities, from initial planning and procurement through to final handover. This position is critical for our client's continued growth and success in delivering top-tier commercial spaces. The role is predominantly site-based, requiring a strong presence in George, Western Cape .

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations in South Africa.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and financial management tools.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Western Cape region as required.
