About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and growing construction company with a strong track record in the **Paarl, Western Cape** area, is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager. This role is integral to the successful delivery of a diverse range of commercial and industrial construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction planning and design coordination through to project completion and handover. Key aspects of the role include budget management, schedule adherence, quality control, safety compliance, and effective stakeholder communication. We are seeking a results-oriented leader with a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and construction management platforms.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience with contract administration and understanding of various contract types (e.g., JBCC).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
• Must be willing to work full-time on-site in the **Paarl** area.
