Placements24 is seeking an experienced In-House Counsel - Compliance Specialist for a leading financial services institution in Centurion, Gauteng. You will lead the compliance program, monitor regulatory changes, and train staff across departments to ensure adherence to FAIS, POPIA, and Companies Act provisions.

With 5+ years as an admitted SA attorney, you will liaise with FSCA and other authorities, draft policies, manage reporting, and drive risk-mitigated governance.

Qualificações

• Admitted Attorney with at least 5 years in financial services compliance.
• Specialization or significant experience in financial services regulation is essential.
• Knowledge of FAIS, Companies Act and POPIA.
• Proven ability to develop and manage compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in internal investigations and audits.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various business units.
• Strong ethical compass and commitment to compliance.
• Proficiency in regulatory reporting and documentation.

Responsabilidades
