Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Economics or related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of compensation and benefits administration experience.
• Strong Excel and HRIS proficiency; knowledge of compensation methods.
• Familiarity with SA labor laws related to compensation and benefits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and health and welfare benefits.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure packages are competitive and equitable.
• Analyze salary data, job grading, and performance metrics to make recommendations for adjustments.
• Manage relationships with external benefits vendors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and other regulations.
• Develop clear communication materials to inform employees about compensation and benefits.
• Administer enrollment for benefits programs and resolve related queries.
• Assist in development and management of the annual salary review process.
• Prepare reports and analyses on compensation and benefits costs and trends.
• Support HR projects related to total rewards and employee well-being.
