Job summary

Placements24 invites a dedicated Project Officer to manage community initiatives in Bloemfontein. The role collaborates with beneficiaries, partners, and internal teams to deliver programs that improve lives in the Free State.

You will support planning, execution, and monitoring, coordinate logistics, collect data, and help report progress while building strong relationships with local stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, community development, or social work is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engagement with diverse groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
• Genuine passion for community service and improving social conditions in the Free State.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of community support projects in Bloemfontein.
• Liaise directly with project beneficiaries to understand their needs and provide necessary assistance.
• Coordinate project activities, including logistics, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
• Assist in data collection and reporting on project progress, outcomes, and challenges.
• Identify potential risks and challenges within projects and propose mitigation strategies.
• Foster positive relationships with community members and local partners.
