Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Project Officer for a Polokwane-based charity focused on improving public health outcomes in Limpopo. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring community health initiatives with local facilities and community leaders.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience in health or NGO project coordination, and a passion for delivering sustainable programs that benefit beneficiaries and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, or related field is required.
• Experience in project management or coordination, preferably within health or non-profit sectors.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with Polokwane community health challenges is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and development of community health projects.
• Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community members, and local government officials.
• Monitor project progress, collect data, and prepare regular reports on project status and outcomes.
