Job summary

Herotel is seeking a proactive Field Sales Agent in Gauteng to identify and convert prospective customers into telecom subscribers. The role is target-driven, field-based, and rewards performance with commission earnings.

You will own your lead-generation strategy, manage a sales pipeline, and deliver against KPI targets. Key duties include full sales cycle management, daily field routing, and accurate CRM reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in outbound sales (minimum 1-2 years).
• Ability to work independently, meet targets and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills in English and local languages.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell to new and existing customers, driving revenue.
• Plan daily field routes, prospect, and pitch to potential subscribers.
• Submit accurate weekly activity reports and keep CRM updated.
• Provide market insights and hand over new subscribers to installation/after-sales teams.
