Job summary

Herotel Telecoms (Pty) Ltd in Middleburg is seeking a Field Sales Agent who will identify and convert prospective customers into subscribers of our services. This role thrives on ownership, independence and building relationships in the field.

You will own the full sales cycle and develop your personal sales strategy while targeting opportunities in housing estates, complexes, and business parks, maintaining a healthy pipeline and reporting weekly activity.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification and valid driver’s license.
• Proven outbound sales track record (1–2 years).
• Ability to work independently and target-driven.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and local languages.
• Experience selling broadband fibre, LTE or wireless internet is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell to new and existing customers.
• Upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Manage full sales cycle from first contact to activation.
• Develop and refine your personal sales strategy.
• Identify new opportunities such as housing estates, complexes and business parks.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of leads at all stages.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor activity and pricing.
• Represent Herotel professionally in the assigned area.
• Submit weekly activity reports and keep CRM up to date.
• Follow up with warm/unconverted leads within agreed timeframes.
• Ensure smooth handover to installation and after-sales teams.
