About the Role

Our client, a prominent real estate management firm, is seeking a proactive and experienced Commercial Property Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and operational efficiency of their portfolio of commercial properties in and around Stellenbosch, Western Cape, ZA. This hybrid role will involve a combination of on-site property inspections, team supervision, and administrative tasks conducted from a central office or remotely. You will be responsible for ensuring all properties are maintained to the highest standards, managing budgets, coordinating repair and maintenance schedules, and overseeing a team of maintenance staff and contractors. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of building systems, and excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for all commercial properties.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management, facilities management, or a related field, with a focus on commercial properties.
• Strong understanding of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural).
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial oversight.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
