Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Site Manager to oversee operations on key Richards Bay projects. You will supervise all on-site activities, enforce HSE standards, and ensure alignment with schedules and quality requirements.

This role requires leadership of site personnel, subcontractors, and equipment across large-scale infrastructure initiatives. Ideal candidates hold a construction management or civil engineering degree, 8+ years' experience, and a strong safety

Formación

• 8+ years of proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager.
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Experience on large-scale commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects in coastal areas.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations (OHS Act).
• Proficient with construction management software and tools.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to extend hours and travel within KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities.
• Manage site staff, subcontractors and labor force.
• Enforce HSE policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule and address delays.
• Ensure workmanship and materials meet standards and codes.
• Coordinate site logistics and equipment deployment.
• Maintain daily site reports and resource allocation.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and clients for updates.
