Qualifications

• 10+ years in Short-Term Insurance claims (Personal & Commercial)
• 3+ years as a team leader in claims
• Experience managing a claims team and performance targets

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for Personal Lines and Commercial Line claims
• Authorise claims within the approved Delegation of Authority
• Respond promptly to queries/escalations from members, brokers and stakeholders
• Align and maintain processes for effective claims assessment and decisions
• Explain targets to staff and monitor performance objectives
• Drive risk awareness and controls within the claims team
• Embed Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) in the claims assessment process
