Job summary

PPS Recruitment seeks an experienced Claims Team Leader for PPS Short Term Insurance. The role leads Personal and Commercial Line claims, ensuring prompt, accurate settlements in line with authority limits and service expectations.

You will drive performance, coach team members, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong knowledge of claims processes, risk controls, and TCF principles is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Short-Term Insurance claims environment (Commercial and Personal Lines).
• At least 3 years in team leadership/management or acting in such role.
• Experience with claims processes and validation in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for Personal Lines and Commercial Line claims and ensure timely, accurate settlements or finalisations.
• Authorize claims within the approved Delegation of Authority.
• Respond promptly to queries/escalations from members, Advisors/Brokers and stakeholders.
• Align and maintain processes for effective claims assessment and decisions.
• Set targets for the team and monitor performance across employee satisfaction, customer experience, cost, and compliance.
