Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli in Cape Town is seeking a customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to deliver a world-class premium experience. You will greet customers, share product knowledge, and actively upsell Lindt chocolates while maintaining store standards and safety.

You will handle POS transactions, manage tills, assist with stock counts, and support monthly promotions. The role requires Grade 12, strong communication, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, luxury retail

Qualifications

Customer service experience in retail environments.
Excellent communication and upselling abilities.
Ability to handle credit card transactions.
Experience with merchandise knowledge and promotions.
Grade 12 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, across the store and over the phone.
Greet customers and provide a memorable Lindt experience.
Educate customers on Lindt products with passion and in-depth knowledge.
Actively upsell to increase transaction value.
Process orders through the POS and manage tills and end-of-shift procedures.
Maintain clean, tidy store and assist with stock counts and replenishment.
Assist in monthly stock counts and handling deliveries.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
