Placements24 in Cape Town seeks a Head of Strategic Partnerships to build and lead the partnership division. You will identify, negotiate, and manage strategic alliances with C-level executives to drive market expansion and revenue growth in South Africa and beyond.

The role requires a proven track record in originating and closing multi-year fintech partnerships, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to influence at all levels.

Formación

• Master’s degree in a business-related field required.
• 10+ years in business development or strategic partnerships, fintech-focused.
• Proven history of originating, negotiating and closing multi-year partnerships.
• Strong understanding of fintech trends, models and regulation.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication and executive-relations skills.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with senior executives.
• Experience in shaping partnership pipelines and metrics.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel; primarily based in Cape Town.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, pursue, and evaluate new strategic partnership opportunities in fintech and adjacent sectors.
• Lead negotiation and structuring of complex partnership agreements with favorable terms.
• Develop and execute strategies for partner engagement and relationship management.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product and legal to integrate partnerships.
• Represent the company at industry events to build brand visibility and leads.
• Monitor trends and competition to spot threats and opportunities in partnerships.
• Manage performance of existing partnerships and drive growth initiatives.
• Present business cases to senior management for approvals.
• Serve as key contact for major partners in Cape Town and nationally.
• Drive revenue growth and market penetration via effective partner strategies.
