You will manage a team of planning engineers, collaborate with geology and operations, and utilize Deswik, Vulcan and Surpac to design open-pit or underground layouts, while driving feasibility studies and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12 years in mine planning with 5+ years in leadership.
• Extensive experience with Deswik, Vulcan and Surpac.
• Proven track record designing complex mine plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee long-term mine plans aligned with resource models.
• Create and manage short-term production schedules and drill/blast plans.
• Lead a planning team and mentor engineers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new projects.
