Job summary

Pick n Pay in Cape Town is seeking a friendly till operator to deliver excellent customer service at the checkout, process purchases accurately, and ensure a smooth and efficient checkout experience. You will keep the till area clean and organized while upholding cash-handling procedures and store policies.

This role requires willingness to work shifts, be flexible, and be ready to transfer between stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent and able to pass numeracy screening.
• Must communicate in English.
• Willing and able to work shifts and transfer between stores.

Responsibilities

• Process purchases and payments at the till accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized till area and adhere to cash-handling procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
• Be flexible and multiskilled, with transferability between stores.

Minimum Requirements:
