Job summary

Pick n Pay Retailers is seeking a Supervisor for Frontline Operations in the Western Cape. You will oversee cashier activity, ensure customer service levels, and enforce policies while maintaining hygiene and safety at checkout areas.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years cashier experience, Grade 12, and proficiency with MS Office. You will lead a team, handle queues, and uphold standards to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric; advantage not mandatory
• Minimum 2 years cashier-related experience
• Computer literacy – MS Office

Responsibilities

• Respond to cashier queries promptly.
• Authorize transactions per laid down procedures.
• Manage checkout queues.
• Maintain hygiene, housekeeping and safety standards.
• Adhere to security procedures.
• Advise customers in a professional manner.
• Prevent wastage, shrinkage and damages.
• Communicate effectively with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
• Lead employees to maintain standards with competence and motivation.
• Complete administration accurately and on time, including staff scheduling.

• Prompt response to queries from cashier
