Placements24 seeks a Catering Operations Supervisor to manage on-site event operations in Richards Bay. You will lead the catering team, oversee setup, service and breakdown, and ensure client satisfaction while upholding the company’s standards for quality and professionalism.

This role requires at least 3 years in catering supervision or event management, strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct catering staff during events, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to event timelines.

• Ensure all catering staff adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations during service.
• Act as the primary client contact during events, addressing any immediate needs or issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct pre- and post-event briefings with the team to ensure clear communication and smooth operations.
• Manage inventory of event supplies and equipment, reporting any needs for replenishment or repair.
