Placements24 is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead strategic retail partnerships in Cape Town and the Western Cape. This hybrid role focuses on driving sales, optimizing brand visibility, and aligning offerings with retailer objectives.

You will manage major accounts, negotiate promotions, analyze market data, and collaborate with marketing and supply chain to ensure seamless execution and impactful retail presence.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in key account management or sales within retail/consumer goods.
• Proven ability to manage large retail accounts and hit targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations and trade marketing.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for key retail partners.
• Build relationships with buyers and decision-makers at major accounts.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, promotions and placement with partners.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain and product teams.
• Present forecasts and performance reviews to retail partners.
• Manage budgets and P&L for assigned accounts.
