Placements24 is seeking an HR Manager in Cape Town to lead talent acquisition and development initiatives. You will work with department heads to design recruitment strategies, build an employer brand, and foster a culture of continuous learning in the South African market.

The role focuses on managing full-cycle recruitment, implementing training programs, and ensuring SA labor law compliance while collaborating across functions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HRM, psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in HR with focus on talent acquisition and employee development.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and implementing training programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment, sourcing, screening, interviewing and offers.
• Develop innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract diverse candidates.
• Oversee design and delivery of training, development, and succession plans.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps and create development plans.
• Manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration.
• Maintain relationships with external agencies and educational institutions.
• Track and report HR metrics related to recruitment, retention, and development.
• Ensure compliance with SA labor laws and company policies.
• Help develop HR policies and procedures.
• Drive engagement initiatives to foster a positive Cape Town work environment.
