Placements24 in Cape Town seeks a Lead HR Specialist focusing on Talent Acquisition to shape recruitment across departments. You will design sourcing channels, oversee end-to-end recruitment, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in TA, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of the South African job market. You will mentor recruiters, partner with managers, and drive metrics-based improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, or related field.
• 6+ years in talent acquisition with at least 2 in leadership/supervisory roles.
• Proven success in high-volume and diverse recruitment.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR recruiters and coordinators.
• Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offer acceptance.
• Source and attract candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, and direct sourcing.
• Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Develop and nurture relationships with external recruitment agencies and talent partners.
• Enhance employer branding initiatives to attract passive candidates.
• Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Analyze recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on KPIs.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide expert guidance.
• Stay abreast of market trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
