Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric certificate is required.
• 3 to 6 years of retail experience.
• Strong action orientation, leadership, planning, pressure handling, and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Proficiency in Google Suite; knowledge of SAP/SAS retail systems and compliance (CPA, NCA, POPIA).

Responsibilities

• Execute daily sales strategies, monitor budgets, manage store expenses, and analyze local sales trends to meet or exceed profitability goals.
• Effectively implement visual merchandising planograms, manage promotional campaigns, and conduct daily morning meetings, floorwalks, and checklists to guarantee pristine store standards.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top store talent; host monthly 1-on-1 performance reviews, track digital training participation (Axonify), and cultivate a high-performance culture.
• Execute vital in-store administration, including cash-ups and stock counts; actively manage stock loss/shrinkage, and ensure health & safety standards are met.
• Resolve customer issues on the floor immediately, review social/Google reviews and CRM reports daily, and inspire staff to deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

What We Are Looking For

• Skills: Google Suite proficiency, operational stock management, and a solid understanding of retail and consumer finance operating systems (SAP/SAS) and legislations (CPA, NCA, POPIA, etc.).
