Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets in Ermelo is seeking a Branch Manager to drive customer growth and revenue by leading the Retail Mass strategy. You will guide Sales Consultants, foster a service-oriented culture, and oversee daily branch operations while ensuring compliance and risk management.

Required leadership experience, CPD compliance, and credit/lending know-how, with strong stakeholder engagement and people-management skills to exceed targets.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE1 and RE5 registrations are mandatory.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or a FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation must be current annually.
• CPD development cycles must be followed and current.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue by developing the branch strategy.
• Guide and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in the branch.
• Lead a service delivery culture for an optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and management of the Retail branch.
• Ensure branch sales delivery and drive a service culture.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management.
• Manage operational HR practices with Talent, performance, development, and grievances.
• Plan and report monthly on sales and service activities.
• Engage key internal/external stakeholders to build relationships.
