Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is seeking a Branch Manager in Benoni to grow the customer base and revenue for Retail Mass. You will lead Sales Consultants, align activities with the branch strategy, and drive a service-focused culture while ensuring compliant day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has Matric, RE1/RE5, CPD and 5+ years in leadership, with insurance sales and credit experience. Sanlam offers competitive pay, benefits, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1/RE5 and CPD current.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised tertiary qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience, with 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through branch strategy execution.
• Guide and align Sales Consultants with branch goals and strategy.
• Lead a service delivery culture to ensure optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring compliance and risk management.
• Drive branch sales delivery and establish a service culture across the team.
• Collaborate with HR on talent management, performance, and development.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activity; engage with key stakeholders.
