Job summary

Staff Solutions seeks an experienced Hotel Manager to lead operations of a boutique luxury property in South Africa. You will oversee guest experience, financial performance, facilities, and compliance, directing HODs and aligning departments with the brand standards.

The role requires 7–10 years in hospitality, with at least 3 in senior management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. Flexibility for evenings and holidays is expected; familiarity with Opera or Micros PMS is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 7–10 years hospitality experience with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
• Experience with boutique or luxury properties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership across all operational departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
• Guide HODs in setting and achieving departmental goals aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Ensure service standards, guest care, and operating procedures are consistently implemented.
• Monitor daily operations, anticipate issues, and uphold guest satisfaction.
• Lead and manage budgets, cost controls, and revenue optimisation strategies.
• Oversee guest experience, handle feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture of hospitality excellence and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, health and safety, and brand requirements.
