Placements24 is seeking a General Manager for a boutique hotel in Durban to lead operations and guest experiences.

You will drive revenue, manage budgets, mentor staff, and ensure service excellence while preserving the hotel’s unique character.

The role requires 6+ years in hotel management (3+ as GM), strong leadership and communication skills, and a hospitality degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in hotel management with at least 3 years as a General Manager.
• Proven record in revenue growth and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, marketing and financial management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in boutique or luxury hotels preferred.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
