Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting for a Production Line Supervisor in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will lead a team of operators on high-speed bottling lines, monitor performance and quality, and enforce SOPs to maintain safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in supervision in manufacturing, strong GMP knowledge, and excellent communication. Shift work and career progression within operations are available.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years in supervisory role in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Experience in bottling/beverage/food production.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct production line operators and technicians.
• Monitor output, efficiency, and quality on bottling lines to meet targets.
• Enforce SOPs for all line operations.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene regulations on the floor.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to the team.
• Address operational issues and equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Conduct regular quality checks and maintain production logs.
• Collaborate with maintenance and QA to ensure uptime and product integrity.
• Promote a positive and productive work environment.
