Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Production Supervisor for a leading beverage manufacturing facility in Paarl, Western Cape. You will oversee daily production operations, lead a team of operators, ensure targets are met safely and to high quality standards, and drive shift coordination.

The role requires GMP/HACCP knowledge, hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years in supervisory role in manufacturing, preferably beverage/food.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
• Proven leadership and motivation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of production machinery and processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible for weekend shifts.
• Eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production line staff to meet daily targets.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues.
• Train and onboard new team members.
• Manage shift schedules and staffing levels.
• Maintain accurate production records (output, waste, downtime).
• Enforce company policies on the production floor.
• Collaborate with quality control and maintenance.
• Promote continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Minimize waste and optimize raw material use.
