Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Banqueting & Events Coordinator to join our team in George, Western Cape. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver all banqueting and event functions, ensuring every detail aligns with clients’ brief and venue standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination or banqueting management.
• Strong understanding of event planning principles, logistics, and budget management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with event management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of event planning, including client consultations, menu selection, room setup, and vendor coordination.
• Develop detailed event proposals and manage budgets effectively to ensure profitability.
• Oversee event execution on the day, ensuring seamless operation and adherence to timelines and client specifications.
• Liaise with the culinary and service teams to ensure exceptional food and beverage delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers to foster repeat business and positive collaborations.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for service enhancement.
